Your data

Privacy policy

This document sets out what Hechbonit actually does with your data. It is written plainly, with no needless clauses — and it promises nothing that is not already in place today.

Who is responsible for your data

The Hechbonit service is operated by Hechbonit, in Israel. For any question about your data, or to request a copy of what we hold, a correction or a deletion, write to yonialbou4@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.

The data we collect

Only what is needed to make the application work:

  • Your account — name, email address, and a password that is never stored in plain text (it is transformed irreversibly). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and your email address, never your Google password.
  • Your bookkeeping data — purchase and sales invoices, suppliers, customers, products, payments, cash movements, Z reports. This is the information you enter, or that is read from your documents.
  • Payslips — if you use this feature, your employees' payslips are stored. They contain personal data belonging to third parties: you remain responsible to your employees for it.
  • Your conversations with the assistant — the questions you ask Sarah and her answers, so that you can find them again later.

We do not collect banking details: Hechbonit does not take payments and is not connected to any bank account.

Where your original documents are stored

This is an important choice we have made: your invoices and original documents are stored in YOUR own Google Drive, not on our servers. You keep full ownership and full control of them, and you can access them even without going through Hechbonit.

The permission you grant Google is deliberately limited: the application can only see and manage the files it created itself in your Drive. The rest of your Drive is invisible to us. You can withdraw this permission at any time from your Google account settings or from the Documents page.

What is sent to the AI

When you scan a document, its image is sent to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude model) to read its contents and fill in the form for you. The same applies to the questions you ask Sarah.

These transfers go through Anthropic's business service, whose terms state that the content sent is not used to train their models. No document is sold, shared or reused for advertising purposes.

The service providers we use

We rely on a small number of technical services, all of them bound by confidentiality commitments:

  • Supabase — the database that holds your bookkeeping information. Servers located in the European Union (Paris).
  • Vercel — hosting for the website and the application.
  • Anthropic — automatic reading of your documents, and the assistant.
  • Google — signing in with a Google account, and storing your documents in your Drive.
  • Resend — sending emails (sending a document, the summary for your accountant). These emails go out from our own domain, never from your personal mailbox.

We do not sell data, and we do not run targeted advertising.

How long we keep your data

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists — you need to look back over several years of bookkeeping, so nothing is deleted automatically.

When you delete a document from Hechbonit, it is also erased from your Google Drive, permanently.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account in full at any time by writing to yonialbou4@gmail.com.

Deletion erases your account and all the bookkeeping data attached to it. The documents stored in your Google Drive belong to you: they stay with you, and you are free to do as you wish with them.

Your rights

At any time you can ask to see the data concerning you, have it corrected, obtain a copy of it, or have it deleted. One address for all of that: yonialbou4@gmail.com.

Security

The traffic between your device and Hechbonit is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored irreversibly. Access to your data is restricted to your account: one user can never see another user's documents.

No system is foolproof, so we recommend that you use a unique password and keep your original documents in your Drive, as the application does.

Children

Hechbonit is a professional tool intended for shopkeepers and businesses. The service is not aimed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. If there is a significant change in how your data is used, we will tell you in the application.
